About This Role
We're looking for a Backend Software Engineer to design and run the APIs, services, and data pipelines behind our products and client projects. You'll write Go and Node.js services, model data carefully, and own what you build from design review to production.

What You'll Do
- Design and build REST and gRPC APIs and backend services, mainly in Go and Node.js
- Model data and write efficient queries for PostgreSQL, with Redis and message queues where they fit
- Build integrations with payment providers, third-party APIs, and internal systems
- Write unit and integration tests, and review teammates' code carefully
- Improve performance and reliability using profiling, query plans, and production metrics
- Take part in the on-call rotation for the services you own, and turn incidents into lasting fixes
- Document service contracts so frontend and mobile teams can move quickly

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional backend development experience
- Strong skills in Go or Node.js/TypeScript, and willingness to work in both
- Solid SQL: schema design, indexing, transactions, and reading EXPLAIN output
- Experience designing APIs with authentication, versioning, and error handling
- Understanding of concurrency, caching, and common distributed-systems pitfalls
- Comfortable with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Good written English for design docs and code reviews

Nice to Have
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Railway)
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Experience running Strapi or other headless CMSs
- Open-source contributions
